2018 Ontario Sheep Convention

The 2018 Ontario Sheep Convention will be held November 1 and 2, 2018 at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort in Alliston.

The theme of this year's Convention is Driving Flock Performance - more lambs to market, more $$$$ in your pocket.

How to register

Attendees can choose to attend all or part of the Convention. 

Take advantage of discounted registration fees before October 19, 2018. No refunds or cancellations will be issued after October 22, 2018.

Accommodations - The Nottawasaga Inn Resort

A discounted room rate is available for the Convention for $149 +HST per night (single or double beds).
A block of rooms is being held for the Convention (guaranteed room availability for the Convention dates) until September 15, 2018. It is recommended that if attendees need overnight accommodations that they be booked early.

The discounted room rate will be available up until the Convention, but room availability may be limited.

Trade show information

That Ontario Sheep Convention includes an industry trade show, featuring businesses that supply and support the sheep industry. The trade show is located in the same room as the presentations, allowing for more time for networking with attendees.

Trade show space is now sold out for the 2018 Convention.

Sponsorship opportunities

That Ontario Sheep Convention provides businesses with an excellent opportunity to showcase themselves to attendees through sponsorship. Sponsors are given broad exposure in several different mediums, including a listing in the Ontario Sheep News magazine September 2018 issue in advance of the meeting. 

2018 Research poster competition

OSF is once again hosting a research poster competition at this year's Convention. Attendees will be voting for their favourite research poster and cash prizes will be given to the top three posters. Researchers will also be given the opportunity to provide a 2-minute overview of their projects to Convention attendees.

Research abstracts can be submitted for consideration via email to general@ontariosheep.org. The deadline for submission is October 5, 2018.
