OSF D2 Producer Meeting

The in person guest speaker will be Mike McMorris from the Livestock Research Innovation Corporation.  McMorris is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a Master’s degree in Animal Breeding. His career has focused on livestock production and includes positions with the Ministry of Agriculture, Beef Farmers of Ontario, Agricorp, AgSights and now as CEO of Livestock Research Innovation Corporation.? LRIC is focused on driving innovation through the livestock sector. Producer organizations and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture support LRIC as they help to identify emerging issues; research priorities and cross commodity opportunities.
