Spicy Lamb Ribs
Ingredients:
2 lbs lamb
ribs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp sweet basil
3/4 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp dry mustard
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
1 med onion thinly sliced
Preparation:
Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Brown on all sides. Sprinkle with salt,
pepper and basil. Drain off fat, cover with a little water and simmer for
45 minutes, turning several times. Combine remaining ingredients to make the
sauce. Arrange ribs in ovenproof casserole. Pour sauce over the ribs and bake
in 325° oven for 35-45 minutes. Serve with rice.
